any insights into why they are registered differently?? PR- is Avianca Brazil and N is Avianca Columbia.

Thanks. I automatically associate November registration with USA. Which is correct. Stating N-registrations are automatically Avianca Colombia is not really true. Colombia uses the prefix HK-. Their ATR's are registered with the HK- prefix. All AV/AVA N- registered aircraft are either leased or registered in the US to a paper-company "AirCol".
