I just wonder, are we sure the photographer is right about those wings?

Actually I think the photographer was not right,
We know that MSN240 was on CV24+25,
unknown MSN is CV26+27 and now we have MSN243 on CV28....
And strong clue about MSN241 being on CV24+25, so what was said about MSN242 must not be right.....

I just wonder, are we sure the photographer is right about those wings? I think so, I know where she or he works, look back at my previous posts in this thread, wings MSN know, convoy # not known !

Sorry forgot about that one, I guess you must be right then.... Should we declare them these MSN or should we still wait for pictures of MSN switching bays?....... We can close the voting but wait for the pictures.

May I be so free to ask You for a moment of Your attention and help because there is something confusing me here and I am probably wrong, but who else might know better than You here; · Convoys 2016/26 ( 2-4 Nov 2016) + 2016/27 ( 7-9 Nov 2016) together have brought one full frame (MSN) so we could conclude that it is in TLS since 9. Nov 2016. · Convoy 2016/28 ( 21-23 Nov 2016) brought one full frame which is in TLS since 23. Nov 2016. · Convoy 2016/29 ( 5-7 Dec 2016) is bringing one full frame that will be completely in TLS from 7. Dec 2016 If this picture was taken today, on 6. Dec 2016, I wonder if this trailer, transporting Singapore Airlines´# 20 Airbus A380´s tail fin, belongs to convoy 2016/28 ( 21-23 Nov 2016) or 2016/29 ( 5-7 Dec 2016). I apologize in advance if I have missed something obvious and already said in the threads on the recent A380´s convoys... Mario

Hi Mario,
Usually the tail fin is the last piece that reaches TLS. At least this what we noticed from previous convoys.

My thoughts mfranjic are convoy 26/27 MSN 241, convoy 28 MSN 243 then convoy 29 MSN 242. If the one wing (LH) of 242 was in N.Wales on the river, on Sat Nov 19th, then get to the sea port, then the barge at the next high tide has to back to Broughton to be loaded with the RH wing, then next high tide (in daylight) take that one to the port, then loading both onto the Airbus ship, then shipped to S.France, then loaded on road transporters they would not have made it for convoys 26/27 or 28 !

Mario, the tail fin is shipped to TLS by Beluga, usually a few days after a convoy.

Thank You, addasih! Thank You, stealthmanbob! Thank You, philidor! Thank You all for Your answers and help! ... although we can not be quite sure in anything, still we can be free to conclude some things... From the image above we can conclude that the only frame included in the stories on convoys CVY 2016/ 26 (2-4 Nov 2016) and CVY 2016/ 27 (7-9 Nov 2016) could be MSN 241 ( EK # 102) since the other frames´ parts was in XFW on 14. Nov 2014. a380.boards.net/post/83318/thread
Thank You, sciing!
From the tweet above, I agree with You completely and respect very much Your efforts, stealthmanbob, we can conclude that MSN 242, very probably, could not have made it for convoys CVY 2016( 26/ 27) or CVY 2016/ 28 (21-23 Nov 2016)... Thank you for this, Karel. And for everything! As my friends, addasih and philidor, have already said, this is, very probable, the only remaining part of the convoy that was taking place two weeks earlier, CVY 2016/ 28 - MSN 243 ( SQ # 20)...
...so this might become, very soon, real and actual situation of the A380 frames in the different production stages ...
...and if it won´t ... nothing bad will happen and nobody will get hurt. We'll try again
Mario
