Is this a new airframe with the c/n and l/n of the damaged frame that previous was assigned 169564 or did they repair it? TIA Melchior What damage had been done to the frame ? Apparently the original fuselage with L/N 8219 was badly damaged / destroyed when transported from Spirit Wichita to Seattle. It is rumoured to have been scrapped and a brand new one built from scratch. This is the reason why L/N 8219 is now being assembled a long time after L/N 9026.
