Airbus needs to end this internal fighting and move on. There is no use in going back to separate national lobby groups and in european governments fiddling around with business decisions. The whole trouble might even be a higher level problem of Merkel and Macron not workig together as good as they should. I agree. We are one European Union and national pride does not belong in the 21ste century.

They are clearly trying to get rid of each other. Enders, being more powerful than Bregier and having full support of the Board, seem to be having the best chance. I am pleased that you now believe that the infighting I have been posting about for months - if not years - existed. It was created by Enders' desire to end a previously existing balance of power that gave Bregier a special position as CEO of the commercial branch. The move was timed to coincide with Leahy's retirement, which destabilised the sales force. I don't think it was wise. In your opinion, who should leave the company, knowing this power struggle cannot continue forever? Whether they like it or not, they should support each other for the time being, and I am sure that's what they are doing, possibly at Board request. Enders' term ends in 2019, and he should in my opinion keep the helm to the end. Whether he should be re-appointed for another term is a big question for the board. I don't know the answer, as it could be a forced decision following ongoing investigations. The worst outcome would be if both men had to step down.

One serious question:
How many military deals - world wide - were made without some level of corruption ?
I most seriously doubt we would be able find A SINGLE one !!!!!!
I completely agree with Philidor. All the "big shots" knew exactly what was going on. If they did not, they should not sit on the chairs they sit on - it is reason enough.
It is only internal game/fight !
We will see how this would end - I am afraid that is all we can seriously do.
To believe Enders did not know about the way military sales are being made is NONSENSE !

Suddenly no more sales in the Middle East looks suspicious too in this context.
