I see there is some discussion in the Emirates EUG thread if she is a LR or ULR. I was a bit confused myself, seeing EUF go on the trip to Auckland this morning and EUG to Sydney/Auckland. On Twitter I was advised by someone who seems to work with Emirates that the crew rest area on the ULR no longer is on the main deck, but in the cargo hold. This allows for the same number of seats (519) as on the LR version. I haven't found a cabin plan yet that confirms that the toilet blocks at the front of the main deck have been moved, but they must have. Otherwise there would still be 11 windows in stead of 12. If I checked correctly EON has been the last ULR in the classic configuration. Then we had a bunch of 2-class and 3-class LR deliveries. I think EUE, EUF and EUG must be the first with the cargo crew rest area, seeing how they have been used for very long flights. Correct?

Yes, I agree with you....EUE/EUF/EUG have flown a few times to JFK, IAD, SYD, BNE etc.... So, the Crew Rest area must be in the cargo hold.

I hope to hear from someone else within Emirates which frames are the new ULR's and I asked Seat Guru if they have a cabin plan. The Emirates website still shows the current ones V1 and V2, but those are without the extra two seats on row 8 that have been introduced from EEU onwards.

I believe those frames, EUE/EUF/EUG have a F14 C76 Y426 cabin lay-out.

I guess that would make it easier for EK to deploy a ULR on an LR route if needed (LR goes tech send a spare LR or ULR) with no reduction on PAXs, just cargo ?
