Interesting that Spirit and CALC (China Aircraft Leasing Group) are converting neos into ceos. If engine problems, or the price difference (Spirit is known to be price sensitive) were the cause, then Spirit's conversion would apply to more than two planes. The reason for the conversion must be availability.

In my opinion this customer is Ethiopian Airlines, who wanted to order 10 more a350-900 in the past.

On April 26 Airbus stated to have 841 firm orders. In the spreadsheet reduced to 831 including the new undisclosed order. Apparently the China Southern order not so firm after all....
