And who is left to preserve ? The only I can see is UNITED and Alaska ..... UA may indeed have pressured Boeing into improving the 737 line-up. The fact that Boeing does not provide a split of 737 orders into sub-types does not let us see the full picture : which MAX customers were initially interested in the -9 MAX but now sit on the fence ?

What is the range? Is that capabilities? Can they go on TATL flight? All 'information' is from the press, and nothing is said about range. If what they say is correct, the following features imply a shorter range that the MAX 9's : - a longer fuselage to accomodate more pax ; - a (likely) more heavy main landing gear to improve take-off performance ; - no engine or wing improvement.

A simple 66 inch stretch of the 737-9. A change to the landing gear that will move the rotation point backwards. Unchanged MTOW. A heavier frame, with less range compared to the 737-9.

Another paper airplane..just wonder how it compete even with MAX9 It depends how it would be used. Anyway I think this is a frame mainly for the USA. Short to middle range hub to hub. A slight increase in capacity over the 737-9, to stem against the flow of A321.
