I would like to clarify on dates regarding delivery. The handover is on the 15th. Afterwards it will stay in TLS for a few installation items before flying to ATL on August 4.

This will create a confusion. a380.boards.net/post/85990/threadThe discrepancy has been obvious since the end of last year, when we did not record two ex-Sri-lanka Airlines frames delivered by Airbus to a lessor, but still sitting in TLS. Yet we carefully check Airbus' delivery dates at each month-end to avoid using a different date. We also have a thread about delivered frames which did not actually fly away ... All this is inconsistent to me. In my opinion, we should use Airbus' official data in all cases, and add two A350 deliveries in December 2016. If we decided to go the opposite way, then we should count only delivery flights and don't bother with Airbus delivery numbers and dates. |
