Norwegian is delaying 12 MAX deliveries from 2020 to 2023/2024 I think that move is part of the cash-preserving steps they had announced.

This sounds very pessimistic from Norwegian ! Not so much, Norwegian is assuming that the MAX ban will be lifted in August. Only newly delivered MAXes are not expected to fly this year. This probably means either that deliveries were scheduled in Q4, or that delays in deliveries are to be expected, or both.

Where does the August date come from for lifting the ban ? It's just the date Norwegian picked to make the financial projections they shared with Flightglobal.
