At last we see the tail painted of AA's new Airbii.
I'm not gonna lie. At first I was skeptical of how the tail would look on the A319. Now I think it's going to look just fine. I've gotten used to the tail, but I think it works best with some length to help balance it out. That's probably why I like it best on the 77W so far.

Another picture of AA's A319 from AA's facebook page Interesting to note that the sharklets have not yet been installed. With wingtip fences, they are normally already installed on the wing before they were joined to the fuselage.

Hmm ok. According to the ATDB, all aircraft will indeed have winglets.

The sharklets might be a bit more prone to damage compared to the fences? And hence installed at a later stage of production?
