I love your 2nd pic! And i would like to see a pic , made from you, when making this photo Thank you. I could try to reshoot a making of (but it's not a place of choice to go again: too close to the flying path) I leaned my back to the fence of the cemetry parking place here (some meters right of the rightmost car). and could have swallowed a sword

I thought that I was the only innocent person in this forum that do not know this . One additional question: are there URL and LR versions at other airlines? Probably not, right? thx

You are welcome! Personally, I'd have to thank many people regularly posting on this forum, for teaching me a lot of technical information about those flying machines... Have all a nice day. Regards AOIspotter

Emirates is the only airline to set configuration on A380s with or without crew rest areas. 11 or 12 windows on the main deck indeed, first batch of windows on the front... Fabien

I am just wondering... The crew rest area is in the back of the main deck. Why would that influence the number of windows in the front end?

Thanks Fabien, but... I assume the doors are at the same location for both frames. So in that repsect the crew rest area in the back cannot result in more seats in between doors 1 and 2. A different configuration of the front lavatories perhaps? Would a ULR version have more lav's? (I have flown a copuple of times on EK 380's on both LR and ULR versions. However, never on the main deck, so would not know the differences... )
