It appears that Turkish is bringing back some of the stored A330-200 into service

I wonder whether TK :
a) is now seeing a need for more aircraft ;
b) is rotating its assets ;
c) has reduced its A330 fleet by returning some of them to lessors.
I think c) is likely : a number of TK planes were approaching lease term, though I don't know whether there were A330s among them.

Philidor I do not believe c) to be the case. It seems that TK believes the things in the country has settled down a bit and the business slowly returns to the level it was before ?

Well I also have my doubts....
We will observe how many will leave the fleet in next month. Still around ten stored.

According to the TK's CEO, Mr. İlker Aycı, all stored A330 will be back in Service by end of April 2017.
And btw, don't forget TK is still the biggest A330 Operator.

Thank you for the updates, TKflyer. I see that most of the A330 fleet is considered 'active', which is good for TK, but have you any idea of how intensively that fleet is being used (average daily number of flight hours, for instance, or any number you might have) ?
On the other hand, I suppose that most idle frames are among the oldest, worst performing, or are there differences in configuration whih are used to pick the frames that remain on the ground ?
