That little Vistara, taking control of Jet Airways?!...... "Little Vistara" is owned by Tata Sons which is worth around well over $70 billion.

"Little Vistara" is owned by Tata Sons which is worth around well over $70 billion. Vistara actually is a joint venture between Singapore Airlines and the Tata group.

This new agreement with ALC complements Vistara's recent lease contract with Avolon (See Kevin's November 15th post post on the previous page of this thread). Vistara seems to be building a large A320neo/A321neo fleet.
EDIT : the above excerpts mention 'CFM56' LEAP 1-A engines ...

TATA sons put another $120m into Vistara Airlines to fund fleet growth and international expansion. Actually, the funding comes from Tata sons and Singapore Airlines. Vistara remains a joint venture between them. According to the linked story, the purpose is to fund already announced purchases (A320neo, 789), not new ones.
