Latest info from SAS is that they expect to receive their first A330-300E (the new HGW variant) in August 2015

Has the MSN for the first 242t version been assigned yet?
And when is the first available A330 slot if ordering today?

Has the MSN for the first 242t version been assigned yet? I believe Airbus said Delta will launch the 242t A330 in 2015. In that case, MSN 1627 should be the first 242t A330. MSN 1658, 1660 and 1673 should also be 242t A330s (Philippine Airlines and SAS said to take 242t A330s).

Are we sure that some of these frames are not from a previous order ? When Qatar's order was firmed, Airbus booked a cancellation of 8 330F, apparently from Avion, so it is quite plausible that Qatar has taken over some of their slots
