Now that MSN167 is in storage, I understand that somehow sequences of frames ferrying to XFW is disrupted, could Airbus speed up MSN168 that is already in its 11th week since arrival, roll it out before the next switch? I suppose it will all depend on the arrival of the seats, galleys, toilets and other parts for other frames. If not delivered in time because of the opened gap, bad luck

I'm not sure, it depends if the pre-FAL can accelerate the cabin deliveries for MSN168.

If no outfitting bay is left vacant, whether transfers are delayed or not does not matter much. The main difference would be in the number of frames waiting on the XFW flightline, but the production rate would not be any slower. EDIT : I find it useful to link to the "flightline in Hamburg 2014" thread, showing that MSN 162 is not the only frame waiting on the flightline. a380.boards.net/thread/797?page=29&scrollTo=29756

Does anyone know why Skymark's two msns 162 and 167 have been put in storage. I haven't seen anything in the Aerospace Magazines about Skymark taking a delay.

I have the feeling that Airbus might not roll out MSN170 before the Summer Break even if it is complete and ready for the Flight Line...... hopefully I have a wrong feeling?...
