So, since we are almost in September and the 330neo wasn’t been certified yet, I was told the deliveries for the first batch of frames were delayed by about 2 months. I believe TAP will take at least 3 frames this year.
Edit: I should clarify that when I say that deliveries were delayed by about 2 months, it doesn’t mean that the first delivery will be delayed 2 months, but the average “delay” for 7 330neos scheduled for this year is about 2 months.

I find it weird/interesting indeed, both Azul and Air Mauritius have already annonced routes and frequencies and schedules, but they're not the launch operator, and TAP hasn't announced any route yet...........

Maybe TAP initially plan to use them to replace old frames on already-scaled routes and latter change the aircraft model on specific routes/reservation systems with a buffer margin for delivery imprevisibility or with national certification (AOC, etc) delays Honestly I think it's a bit premature schedules announcements with the turbulence we lately see with engines, as andremp said, the aircraft/engine is not yet 100% certified, maybe some caution is recommended, look at what is happening with PrimeraAir Anyone knows how is going the Trent 7000 delivery to Toulouse? How many engines have arrived?

AFAIK EIS for the first frame should occur in November. As lowpass mentioned, TAP is taking some precautions about which routes the A330neo will operate and when, because a number of factors, first is the certification of the frame(I'm not talking about the one from EASA, but from the local one in Portugal by ANAC), second is also the ETOPS certification that should occur at least 2 months after the certification of the type and finally any other technical problems that may occur during the first months. Anyway I've heard that one of the first destinations planned is GRU in São Paulo, but it has been a while since I heard anything about the A330neo routes, so take this post with a grain of salt!

Here's a update on the MSNs for the most of A330neos to be delivered by the end of 2019:
