4 months between assembly and delivery is pretty normal for the A350 these days.

It seems more like Reuters really wants PAL to acquire the A350-1000. There is simply nothing new in this article. To be fair, per the same story Bautista also said : "it is one airplane we can consider." Strictly reading, this statement is not earth-shattering (any airline can 'consider' any aircraft), but there is some positive intent.

The same already discussed noncommittal quotations : -"Of course, we are considering it". -"For the option, I’m sure Airbus will be happy if we convert those [A359s] to A350-1000". -"It can be replacement of older (Boeing) 77. We have not made a decision yet. So, we’ll study".
