That's a rather unexpected bold movement.

That's a rather unexpected bold movement. That guy also had an "exclusive" about an A380 order at the Paris Air Show. I believe it when I see it. Nothing on RwandAir website or Twitter. The slots mentioned are Air Lease Corp. Nothing on their website either.

Msn 1888, the first -800, said to be delivered to Hawaiian after test flights. I hope so, there was/is a doubt about HA's actual intentions. I would hate them to cancel their order.

That would be good news. Airbus does not have a good record for selling test aircraft. Perhaps the high degree of commonality with the -900 means that the very first -800 will be production standard. The test aircraft Airbus plans to sell usually get sold.

None of the first 4 A350-900s have been sold. As far as I know none of the A350-1000 or A330-900 test aircraft have customers lined up either. Geoff

Geoff It works of course well when you exclude test frames, that have been sold. A350 MSN5 was a test frame, has been sold. It is not planed to sell MSN1 and 3, but MSN2 and 4 should be sold in the future. A380 MSN1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 9 were used as test frames if I remember right. MSN1 and 4 were not sold. MSN2 was sold to a private customer, but not taken up. A320neo family, all test frames but MSN6101 should be sold, some are still in tests, some are being converted and some are sold. A320 family only MSN1 was not sold, used extensively for test all its live. A330/340 MSN1 the first test frame for the A340-300, was not sold, is used for laminar tests, blade project, today. The first A340-200 MSN4 was sold. The first A330-300 MSN12 was sold and the first A330-200 MSN181 was sold. When Airbus needed a A330 test framer later they used a frame build for the US tanker program, I think MSN871. The first A340-600 MSN360 was not sold (different emergency exits than later certified), but the first A340-500 MSN394 was sold.
