There is no reason to close the paint shop in HFW. While the accident took place in France, the HFW plant has its own organisation and is operating under German labour laws.

Well one company - there might be one rules - they might decided to change some of the rules etc....
But who knows - it could be completely independent.

Also depends on which paintshop in XFW you are talking about. There is a small A320 paintshop next to the A380 ones, which is fairly new and not operated by Airbus. Airbus basically said: We give you the facilities. Who paints us the plane for the lowest price? So people working in there aren't employed by Airbus, but by some other company which has to 'rent' the hangar.

I am wondering if paint shops at both TLS and XFW could be temporarily closed, or only the one at TLS?...  Sorry guys, did I miss anything? What's happened, what's this incident in TLS? Thank you for any explanation.. Have a good day AOIspotter |

I think we might see three ferry flights in the coming weeks: MSN 160, 162 and 163. It would be cool - to hold the 3/month transfer pace. Of course it must be interrupted sometime but the longer the better. |
