Interesting, thanks UK380! I'm still amazed Airbus still uses these both 2 extra bays (213 and 214) that were previously used for wing-repairs, and said they should be used for A320s thereafter..... Could they (or just one as only 214 has been reported with A380s inside) be now used for extra-FL hangars (though being at the back), or maybe for delivery-centre shelters?.....  apparently both in use for A380s towed outside in the AM on Friday 23rd, possibly from H213 which was empty in the PM |

MSN181 could be either in Paint Shop either in bay 246 or 245, and same MSN177 could be either in Paint Shop either in bay 246 or 245 |

I have no idea where I got the registration from for 170, it still has F-WWAB on it. I am In TLS on Monday so should get to see some there as well !!

From my calculation, at XFW only the paint hangar is available for this frame, being the other OF bays occupied. Next frame to move to the paint hangar and vacate a OF bay should be MSN 174, but arrived in XFW only on nov 26th, too short a time to be ready for paint, considering Christmas in the middle. Have a nice day AOIspotter I would imagine .MSN175 being now painted and in one of the FL hangars ready to be rolled out, .MSN177 being in one of the paint hangars, and .MSN174 being ready to switch from OF hangar to paint hangar (if not already done).. There should then be at least one OF hangar ready for MSN182, perhaps two... |

I think there might be some congestion around the OF bays now,
with MSN179OZ that should be in Paint Bay
we should have now 8 frames for 6 OF bays
(MSN176EY MSN180EY MSN181QR MSN182EK MSN183OZ MSN184EK MSN186EK MSN187EK)
MSN186 was still spotted outside unpainted yesterday,
I guess one of those new-arrived (MSN186 MSN187 MSN180) might go to the second Paint Shop before OF..

its the MSN178(by a other / new I would be post a pic) and the MSN187 are outsite LH its coming out the hangar but not in the front of the flightline

I was meaning MSN187 in fact... sorry spotterxfw MSN178 could now be soon finished to be painted?..... With the arrival of MSN188EK today it makes XFW very full, would urge Airbus for a roll out soon of both MSN176(EY3) already painted and MSN179(OZ3) (13 weeks since arrival, should be ready very soon).. |
