Later on Emir of Qatar chimed in after meeting then-Airbus CEO Bregier and QR finally took delivery of some of the delayed ones. But the 4 stay cancelled in the book. True .... Except that we don't know whether the Emir actually chimed in, or whether everything was agreed before the meeting and it was just staged that way to show the ruler favourably !

I don’t see the A330-800 will be ready to be delivered by March 2019. So could it be another aircraft on order will be delivered then?
From what I can understand they convert 5 of their 10 A350-900 on order into 8 A330-800?
