I do love the first one in fact with that sand-coloured dune(?), it looks like it is landing in the desert (Dubai?...)

Emirates A380 A6-EEB positioned Dubai – Bordeaux for maintenance in the early hours of this morning as EK3147 Source: theeksource This could very well be for door modifications. So far work has only be done in Abu Dhabi on EDZ, EEI, EDA and currently EDB. A second repairshop sounds logical to speed up the modifications.

Since BOD is done with wing fixes, surely they were looking for a new job. Waiting for other A380 glitches??

On March 12 EEB almost certainly suffered a hydraulic issue of some sort on take-off from Manchester. Gear couldn't be retracted and after circling near Manchester she diverted to Heathrow, where se afely landed. The flight was cancelled. The take-off was captured on video and at 8 seconds shows some puffs of smoke that could show the moment some sort of system went wrong. She returned to Dubai on Monday morning.
