A friend of mine is just stuck on this plane with EK385 in BKK. During push back the wheels turned too far. Apparently they heard a loud bang and since then there wasn't any movement, just a lot of cars driving around. Flight was meant to leave almost 2 hours ago.

Oh no! That's a bummer...
According to FR24, the flight (still on A6-EED) took off now with a 5 hour delay.

On January 18, Emirates sent EED to Lufthansa Technik in Manila for checks and repairs, confirming it is short of space in Dubai.

A6-EED is now back to DXB after checks and repairs.
By the way, quite a few A380 are grounded waiting for the wings repairs....A6-EDV, A6-EEA, A6-EEE....among others.
A6-EEF was ferried to MNL and took the place from A6-EED

EED re-entered service on March 3 to Madrid.
