AIMF is used to bring rescue teams and material to Nepal. I can see it flew to Delhi, India today. I'm pretty sure that is as far as it will go.....

After an extensive testflight over eastern Germany AIMF via Hamburg returned to Frankfurt, having completed her C-check.

After an extensive testflight over eastern Germany AIMF via Hamburg returned to Frankfurt, having completed her C-check. Back in service on March 30 as LH440 to Houston.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but I just want to point out that the Painting Facilities at Hamburg (XFW) are not owned by Airbus. They are owned by MAAS Aviation. We don't really know how much involvement Airbus has in painting the Lufthansa A380's.
My speculation is that because the A380 production Programme is slowly becoming to an end, Lufthansa and Airbus might have discussed to have their remaining A380's painted at XFW to keep the A380 Painting Facilities busy. There may be more Airlines doing this in some way or another in the future.
