From the above story : "The deal would be worth $13 billion at list prices for the smaller of two variants, though some of the aircraft are likely to be options to be confirmed later." Would Indigo take the A338 ?

Yes, Indigo will take a330-800, because at airbus list prices 2018 50x260 million $ (average a330-800 list price) = $13 billion

Bloomberg just picked one of two list prices, multiplied it by 50 and claimed the deal value is 13 billion - just guesswork. EDIT : I think we should discuss this project in the A330neo thread, and leave this one for events actually happening in Farnborough.
