2020 If delays still occurs, but as of now 3 planned for 2019. What is the hold up FAA certification or engine availability? From what I'm aware, Airbus wanted to delivery the first A330neo to Azul by the end of January, but Azul has no interested in taking the frame at that time since by the time the aircraft would be ready to EIS, it would be the "low peak" season for them on their long-haul routes. So, the choice to postpone further the A330neo delivery was by Azul and not Airbus (I've already read on another forum where it's implicated that Airbus was the one responsible to delay this delivery). Azul is willing to take up to 2 A330neos by the end of June to have them ready for their "high peak" season, but "something" could delay further those deliveries and that "something" is essentially the second part of your question. I should point out tho, that at this time, Azul is confident that they will have 1 A330neo operating by September, but those other two may be delayed up to 2020
