Only 11 deliveries in 2020, 7 deliveries from 2019 and 3 from 2020 deferred because a321neo production delays.

10 deliveries earlier planned for 2019 and 2020 will be delivered in 2021 or later. 11 deliveries in 2020 instead earlier planned 14.

Who actually pays for these leases? Is it Airbus? Tobeblack and white, the delays are coming from Airbus(vendor),so why should the customer pay for any interim solutions to keep their business going?? But as with most things in reality...its never usually that simple.

But as with most things in reality...its never usually that simple. When the customer has taken delivery (i.e. the operator has paid to purchase the aircraft, or is making payments to a lessor) and cannot use it (as is the case presently for the MAXes), then the manufacturer may have to pay for interim lift. In this case, however, it's just a delivery delay and the customer is entitled to a much smaller compensation set by the sales contract.
