Delivery is now scheduled for late October, not sure why need three months from now. they are over capacity at this point; therefore, no rush on taking new airplanes -> stick to the original schedule I notice this for the last few frames already with test flights done and just sitting there waiting for clock to tick

Delivery is now scheduled for late October, not sure why need three months from now. Airbus must stick to its production plans, even when a supplier or customer issue moves the delivery date to the right. Any attempt, at a late stage, to change the 'firing order' (I know, this is Boeing terminology) would create disorganisation. The most efficient attitude is probably to continue construction as planned (except for engine attachment), then to store the aircraft until delivery.
