Delivery flight yesterday I wonder if that is an all-time record for Airbus. Take off for delivery only exactly 105 hours and 51 minutes after take off for first flight (based on information on FlightAware). Not really, the A320 especially for EasyJet, LATAM and Thomas Cook have a bunch frames faster than 4 days. The record I found is 35h35min. aibfamily.flights/A320/8358

I wonder if that is an all-time record for Airbus. Take off for delivery only exactly 105 hours and 51 minutes after take off for first flight (based on information on FlightAware). Apart from the number of test flights before delivery, what would matter to Airbus is either the time between roll-out and successful CAF (= test lead time), or the time between first flight and successful CAF (= flight test lead time). The date of the delivery flight is the customer's choice.

Oh Gosh this BBA518 callsign is killing me 😂😂. Got a notification of this yesterday I thought it was that poor Swiss baby doing another test flight... Oh well, now that MSN 50018 is finally delivered, here I am trying to get this right again 😂 Now MSN 50038 in the air for next flight: www.flightradar24.com/BBA518/21204cca
