I am soooo glad I'm not the only one Had some comunications with peter about first flight of MSN 50051, thanks for that. peter has a sorce that confirms that the first flight of MSN 50051 was indeed on 29 Feb 2020. So it seems that FR 24 ( www.flightradar24.com/2020-02-29/21:00/12x/BBA511/2407a5fd) faild to record the flight data. Therefore i changed the posts regarding MSN 50051 above. So did they fly without ADS-B on? Does this source have a departure time?

If so, sorry for the confusion bmw801 I'll let you know the result.

So, when I posted this it may have been too soon. I normally only mention a flightnumber when it's in the air, this could be my mistake in that it was only doing taxi tests or an RTO but it was moving for sure! That has always been and still is a problem with the ridiculous flight numbers used in YMX. Anyway, I'll go with the flow and (for now, unless I find different) have March 7th as f/f date.

It definitely was doing Ground Checks. The only reason why I brought it up is because none of the 5+ Flight Trackers had it recorded flying, and they all usually do a good job with the A220 Test Flights. Plus, although the conversation on the liveatc.net archive between the pilots and ATC where all in french (I don't speak french fluently), i could only make out taxi instructions and never a takeoff clearance.

I was also wondering if there's something special for the hexcode for MSN 50051 C-FOVK? I did see it flying a couple times in FR24 but didn't receive any email notifications like all other A220 test flights from FR24. PS. luckily in our forum we don't need to worry about the first flight date for A220 like those production list dudes do ^^^

Interesting. But I've also set up some delivery flight alarms like "DAL9931" or "CES9001" and from what I observed so far they would also send out alarms even when new aircraft that is not in their database yet. It's just that under "Aircraft reg." it will be blank. Maybe they change the schema a lil bit?
