It looks like they simply omitted the word Thai on top of the fuselage to make it easier to shift them up and down between Indonesia and Thailand  |

Yeah if you look at the picture I posted on Sept 8 from dn280, you can kinda make out LAQ on NWD, so I'm guessing it did get repainted from PK- reg. And this matches with the hex. Agree.
