It seems odd that the tail wasn't pre-painted. Was it not ? Sometimes, the tail is painted but veiled to stage some upcoming company event.

The tail is indeed pre painted, if you look very closely you can make out the Virgin logo (weirdly enough it looks darker than the rest of the tail, though I don't know if that's just an effect of the white covering). It's the same on their first A350. I might use Photoshop to make it more obvious when I have a bit of time later in the day.

I had to contort myself and lean my monitor at a very odd angle to see the Virgin logo. they did a wonderful job of masking the entire rudder assembly in white plastic covering.

Those red engines, while hot, are such a tease. I want to see the damn thing painted already!
Also, I for the life of me cannot see the Virgin logo on the tail despite what others claim.
