Deferrals are surely good news for Airbus to attract additional new customers (or speed deliveries within the queue if required but I'm learning that fleet acquisition is budgeted so far ahead that that may not suit).

Deferrals are surely good news for Airbus to attract additional new customers (or speed deliveries within the queue if required but I'm learning that fleet acquisition is budgeted so far ahead that that may not suit). Officially, there is nothing new as regards DL deliveries. They need 15 frames now or very soon, the remaining ten much later, when they decide to replace some of their old 777s. Whether the last few of the first batch are delivered before year-end or in Q1 2019 makes no difference, there is no available production slot that Airbus could offer for sale. There was some speculation that DL would cancel a few A350s when ordering more A339s, but they didn't. They have the option to convert A350s to A339s in the future, though.

Three weeks now since engines been installed, still not seen at flight line. Getting very tight for the scheduled Dec 2018 delivery. Now she is. Online at flight line: www.flightradar24.com/MSN267/1ecd5d22
