Well, I think guests should be encouraged to join the forum. How to do that is up for debate ...

Before moving that discussion elsewhere let's go around this, I wouldn't mind opening the forum to "Guests" but this will be an open door to polluting posts and spammers...... (this example from Savannh is the perfect example of either a polluting one or a spammer......)...... (non-sense-post in a 2013 thread =>  ). |

I agree with Fabien and bob. I would certainly value the aviation related contributions by visitors to the site but signing up is easy to do on these forums and shouldn't take a lot of effort.
Opening up guest posting will introduce a lot of clutter and spam-garbage that would ruin the quality of information being brought to the forum.
