Landing gear problem? MSN 056 · 4th flight approaching XFW rwy 23 - 2010.10.29 about 7km away - gears still in gears fully extended - a normal view nose gear doors completly closed - still 5.5 km from touch down gears coming out again fully extended again

Oh that was pretty quick in fact from the last flight test (4th flight) to the delivery, just 3 days later!... (CFF 19.10.2010) Fabien

They can if they have to. I once listened to a talk on a dike while waiting for a landing in the evening on rwy 05 (one of them was an insider): the A380 buddies have a lot of time (and money) and could do more & faster; the pressure on the A320 team is a lot bigger. And besides: an easy Jet A319 only earns 500,000 € for Airbus
