Landing gear problem? MSN 056 · 4th flight approaching XFW rwy 23 - 2010.10.29 about 7km away - gears still in  gears fully extended - a normal view  nose gear doors completly closed - still 5.5 km from touch down  gears coming out again  fully extended again  |

They can if they have to. I once listened to a talk on a dike while waiting for a landing in the evening on rwy 05 (one of them was an insider): the A380 buddies have a lot of time (and money) and could do more & faster; the pressure on the A320 team is a lot bigger. And besides: an easy Jet A319 only earns 500,000 € for Airbus |
