There is only 3 Air Accord orders remaining to be cancelled in the future More importantly, EK's A380 orders (other than the 13 they are taking) are also being cancelled. We'll have many cancellations this month or soon : A380s (EK's, Amedeo's) and A350s (part of EY's). They will be offset by EK's A339/A359 orders.

In Chinese Use google translate 5 A350-900 and 12 A350-1000. MOU seems to have been done in July 2018. Delivery start in 2021 and end in 2024.

Well, as QR did not disclose the manufacturer, posting the news in this thread is an act of faith ... It could be a 779 top-up ...

Hard to say given that their current order book seems to be already large enough. Perhaps they want more aircraft to fill in where EY wants to retreat from the market.

Hard to say given that their current order book seems to be already large enough. Perhaps they want more aircraft to fill in where EY wants to retreat from the market. These two paragraphs explain it. "“We don’t have any gaps in our fleet at the moment. What we are trying to do is to order more aircraft to enhance the fleet that we already have. The strategy of Qatar Airways is to keep our average fleet age young, hence we need to keep ordering aircraft as our aircraft exit our fleet,” he said. Responding to a question from ATW, Al Baker said he plans to further develop Qatar Airways’ aircraft leasing business."

These two paragraphs explain it. "“We don’t have any gaps in our fleet at the moment. What we are trying to do is to order more aircraft to enhance the fleet that we already have. ... 'Enhance the fleet' is a strange and deliberately obscure choice of words, which could cover any order, short of a very large one or the introduction of a new type.
