Thanks limoncello, thought I'd start a new thread, don't think we have one yet.

Not sure which MSN this is. I assume the aircraft is being scrapped as it looks like they're removing parts (although it could also be somewhat heavy maintenance)

Well, the caption says they visited an engine shop, then a heavy maintenance shop. So, I doubt the post belongs in this thread.

Fuselage of first airline A380 recycled into identity tags By Max Kingsley-Jones18 February 2020 www.flightglobal.com/mro/fuselage-of-first-airline-a380-recycled-into-identity-tags/136812.articleA German company is using recycled fuselage parts from the first airline-operated Airbus A380 to create collectable identity tags, following the parting out of the aircraft by Tarmac Aerosave. The ex-Singapore Airlines A380 (MSN003/9V-SKA) is one of two aircraft the airline has retired that are being broken for spares by recycling specialist Tarmac Aerosave in Tarbes, France.
Well this is entrepreneurship! Have a look at the photo of the limited edition tags - a must for an A380 enthusiast?

MSN003 is already sold out. Next chance is 9V-SKB. Seller is aviationtag.com, they have a quite long list of other frames. I saw there ad already several times in the past. But I guess that one was very special.

It's a good idea to make and keep some souvernirs but overall it's still sad to see it being chopped up to bits.
