Air Canada reorders the 2 A220s they cancelled earlier 😀 They never cancelled any A220 so they don't have to reorder anything. The way I read the statement is they were planning to cancel two but have reversed that decision before it actualy happened.

Air Canada reorders the 2 A220s they cancelled earlier 😀 Remaining 10 from 12 "cancelled" orders maybe re-assigned too: "Air Canada may still elect to proceed with the purchase of the remaining 10 aircraft and is evaluating the fleet and economic benefits of extending the order to include all or a portion of these 10 aircraft". source: page 30 of document or 31 in pdf viewer

The way I read the statement is they were planning to cancel two but have reversed that decision before it actualy happened. Now I remember, there was talk about cancelling twelve orders some time ago but those were options and thus never reflected on the O+D-sheet
