Whats the issue of the A319? It is still needed for a very special niche, ultra high altitude airports. That's the whole point ! AB have increased the no. of sub types it builds a lot recently, A321NX, A321LR and possibly an A321ULR both with 2 choices of engines. time to rationalise the offerings ? doesn't make much difference if no one is buying it

After the last 20 + 16 order in 2018, total Airbus A380 commitment to 178 aircraft units, and as per the news from EK now, they are taking 124 only, is that mean they canceled 53 A380?
Does it mean the A380 production line will close earlier than what we anticipated?

Sad day to see it end after only one generation.

This is a sad day for the A380 indeed today. At least the deliveries will go for another couple of years, and the skies will be filled with the plane for at least another decade.
As mention by kronus then, last MSN would be MSN271. The quote though doesn't tell us in how the deliveries will be set up, and to when exactly will be the last delivery : late 2020, early 2021 or rather late 2021 ? ..
For the convoys, we do have now 2 complete unknown MSNs at TLS, they would most likely be MSN261 and MSN264, plus a set of Wings+Tailplane. Completing that half frame and then only 5 complete frames to convoy.

These planes are going to fly for at least another 20 years, 2021 is not the end of life, only end of production. Really no need to use words like that.
