OQB in Singapore since Feb 6, after diverting on her way to Melbourne as QF10. Reason was vibration in engine 1 low pressure spool. Not known if it can be fixed on the spot or that replacement is needed. Just an observation: that's another Rolls-Royce issue. We hardly see those on the Engine Alliance.

OQB in Singapore since Feb 6, after diverting on her way to Melbourne as QF10. Reason was vibration in engine 1 low pressure spool. Not known if it can be fixed on the spot or that replacement is needed. Just an observation: that's another Rolls-Royce issue. We hardly see those on the Engine Alliance. OQB returned to Melbourne at 10.55 pm Singapore time on Feb 8, so that indicates to a quick fix.

I only followed her until she was over Australia, so didn't see where she ended up. Interestingly Flightradar lists het flight originally as QF6003 to Melbourne, but that was cancelled.

I guess flight radar just presumed Melbourne since that was QF 10s original destination. My flight on -OQB was uneventful other than a delay on departure due to operational issues. I managed to speak to the flight crew and according to them, the engine was replaced in Singapore
