Out of interest what would cause this to happen and would it be considered a risk if the main gear show a tendancy to lift before the nose gear?

Didn't it raise the gear at all? Boeing has been sort of "shy" about inflight pictures until now. Possibly they don't retract the gear during first flights but Airbus does.

Out of interest what would cause this to happen and would it be considered a risk if the main gear show a tendancy to lift before the nose gear? I guess the aircraft was very light, and she really 'wanted' to take off, while the pilots preferred to keep her on the ground a little more ...
