all planes rest on three points, not on the gear (that's usual since decades on checking times - so the weight can be measured before and after repairs/outfitting and forgotten tools be detected) the rear point Looks very fragile! I'd be impressed if it can detect a forgotten screwdriver. As much as I'm impressed by the huge wings, I'm equally amazed by the size of the horizontal stabilisers ever since I learned that it's about the size of the A320 wings.

One A380 wing length is almost the same length as an A320! Fabien

Where is the "dislike" button? Maybe QF could also fix the wings of this frame, hence the 6 weeks... Poor frame, let's hope for a quick recovery. Have a nice day AOIspotter

OQF is back in action. She did an extensive flight test off coast to Sydney on June 8.

I managed to see it today parked at the QF Jetbase although I didn't see it fly. As can be seen, there doesn't appear to be any visible changes to the aircraft from the repairs. VH-OQF is Back!!! 8 Jun 15 by JKKW, on Flickr

OQF had a tech issue on December 29 when operating QF2. After landing in Dubai she went tech and spent a few days with Emirates. Only on January 1 she returned to service as QF2 to Sydney.
