Again I don't know how accurate Alan's info is, but he is saying that there was no delivery crew onboard. (in the picture description) A350-1041 MSN430 F-WZHC by Alan PARDOE, on Flickr

(in the picture description) Given the fact that QR has grounded around 20 A350's due to "paint cracking" (or something like that) I think it is very unlikely that a crew was send to accept this (or any other) aircraft.

I'm sure, Airbus has a bank account for the penalty that is due when Qatar Airbus (Akbar Al Baker) does not pick up finished aircrafts. The fact that Airbus is contacting an independent arbitrator show us that they are not longer ready for any more jokes. But this is my personal feeling and opinion. Edit: An additional thought, why is the plane being cleaned and brought to the DC. Make no really sence for me. Maybe there is more to it than is passed on to the outside.

Exactly! Agree with peter and a380admirer Airbus completing 409 and 430, is to make the exact point that these aircraft are due to delivery - we no longer accept your delay tactic, we are following the contract. This is clearly adding chips to the negotiation. Edit: the penalties on those BA and IB frames must be mounting as well, and QR has a big share in IAG.
