Twenty-four painters at Airbus’ Hamburg hangar spent two weeks on eight movable platforms up to 30 metres from the ground applying five coats of red, white and blue gloss paint to the huge aircraft. The work was conducted by hand using spray guns, traditional paint rollers and small paint brushes.
The specialists, who spent three years training to learn how to paint an A380, used 2,300 litres of paint to cover an area of 3,500 square metres. Although the total weight of the five layers of paint covering the aircraft weighs around 650kg, the paint applied is no thicker than a human hair.
2 weeks to paint MSN095. Also says again that MSN095 will be flying to Toulouse...
Noone of the writers investigated - they are clueless and wrote in mixed words the same what they read on the internet. They are not worth the money they earn.
I predict: MSN 095 stays in Hamburg Finkenwerder, will have the 4 or more usual testflights over east Germany and will be delivered here mid June.

I would suggest you are right ..... but the possibility of it being the Paris demo A380 may complicate things a bit as might the fact that it is the first Airbus widebody for BA .... a traditionally Boeing customer.
And linie9, this pic is just great. Are the 'blue' shades really that different from the belly/nacelles and the tail fin? Looks like the tail fin blue is darker...
