Any idea why MSN095 is in the air so often? Specific issues, or is her testing program comparable to that of other A380's?

It's a HoV aircraft, so there are probably more things to look after in such a premiere. Some adjustments may take several tries, compared to ones, where you have already more experience with the same outfitting.

I wouldn't qualify MSN095 as being in the air 'so oft' yet, it has so far just had 4 cabin flight tests, this is pretty regular comparing to others that had 8+ (MSN061, MSN039, ...). Though repetitive flights in short times like this (Tuesday, Thursday) might show that something was wrong and rechecked on subsequent flight(s)... I think HoV cannot be a reason for many flights/checks as for example MSN078(MH1) had only 3 including Customer Acceptance Flight... but maybe it varies from airline to airline, checking officers might be more involved in details in some airlines?... Also maybe Airbus wanted to correct/check something before transferring MSN095 to TLS? Maybe MSN095 is also trying to get ready for Le Bourget?? Fabien

It is also the first with the 1,5 degree wing adjustment Hmm all frames convoyed after MSN095 should have the increased wing twist, so MSN113 and MSN116 (already delivered) should have it too.

Has MSN095 been used for a photo shoot? It seems BA is keeping the pictures until the PR offensive is to begin.
