Should we then just remove the categories 'Frames in storage'?..... It should be for frames that are really in long time storage, not frames waiting a while for entry in to the next production step, because there is no space or frames going through rework. |

Indeed,
that category hasn't ever been created in that perspective. Hwvr when you see a frame all packed you'd assume if is in storage, so that's the thing. How to know Airbus' plans?.. Even the long time storage with the likes of MSN3 and others, sometimes it's been sent to BOD or elsewhere in storage, stayed there 2 weeks, and then came back. Frames have been in storage at any spot of TLS areas even sometimes close to the tents, and we haven't heard about them for months and months. So then noone can be blamed in assuming that a frame is in storage, if it actually looks like. So in my opinion, there wouldn't be disagreements in where a frame's thread should be, otherwise we can just purely get rid of this category.

Perhaps we could keep the category, but don't hurry to move threads there ?

To be honest, I don’t see the value of the thread, if we have threads in rhe production for frames not even seen or even their MSN is identified (check Lufthansa #16 and 17...etc.) what is preventing us of leaving everything in production section? (Except test frames should be on the test section)
