Slip in Airbus order total illustrates 12-month impact of crisis By David Kaminski-Morrow9 April 2021 www.flightglobal.com/air-transport/slip-in-airbus-order-total-illustrates-12-month-impact-of-crisis/143240.articleAnalysis of Airbus backlog data over the year since the onset of the air transport crisis shows the airframer’s overall orders fell during the period, an extraordinary contrast to its strong annual performances over the previous decade.
...The airframer has been managing the impact of the pandemic by cutting production rates and negotiating deferred deliveries to customers, and chief executive Guillaume Faury has pointed out that the company has experienced only a “low number” of cancellations. Airbus’s total order figure of 20,315 at the end of March 2021 was just over double the level of 10,061 recorded 10 years earlier in March 2011.
Precisely! Orders are in a good position, it's simply output that requires some temporary adjustment but all things future research should if anything be increased utilising as many of the human resource available. Wretched people will fill page lines with % change just for the sake of writing something. It's like the financial world saying that a country's GDP has increased x% in Q4 2020, ignoring that the initial magnitude of drop will take years to recover.

Delta: 25 A321neo Private: 1 A319neo Avolon: 14 A320neo and 8 A321neo
At the same time Avolon cancelled 16 A320neo and 6 A321neo, so net in -2 A320neo and +2 A321neo And it seems like BOC transferred 1 A320neo til TAP, and SMBC converted 2 A320neo into A321neo

New O&D spreadsheet is out
7 orders for May - 2 A320neo from Volaris, and 5 A359 from Lufthansa.
Also, 3 cancellation for A359 also from Lufthansa, so their total order increased from 43 to 45.
