If Airbus keeps up the pace the 14th to fly in 2019 would be in January

That's an interesting point in fact peter, when at the earliest in the year could the 14th flight occur in forthcoming years??.......

Well the back trend appeared already in 2015 180 14 MSN 192 British Airways10 2015-06-12 (transfer to XFW S A M E D A Y) And I am afraid another step back will come this year. Although I hope we will see 3xFF in FEB this year.

Not sure where to put this, but as someone who has not kept up with day to day A380 production, is it the rule now that a first flight is also the ferry flight to Hamburg? I assume it is and has been for several years?

I assume it is and has been for several years? There are few seldom cases when it is not the case. There was some problem during the FF or ?

Indeed it is the ferry flight in now most of the cases,
FF without ferry flight hasn't happened yet in 2016, out of 9 FFs, it's happened only 3 times out of 26 FFs in 2015, 8 times out of 30 FFs in 2014, 5 times out of 29 FFs in 2013, 8 times out of 25 First Flights in 2012, 19 times out of 25 First Flights in 2011, 11 times out of 21 First Flights in 2010 12 times out of 14 First Flights in 2009, 10 times out of 11 First Flights in 2008, and 2 times out of 3 First Flights in 2007....
