Hmmm, that black & yellow kind of "collides" with TK's colours. Maybe TK should re-consider their sponsorship of BVB and go for Ajax Amsterdam instead Okay, I am biased... Haha;) very good airny

I would't dare to ask for five, 1:0 would do... 2-1 to Bayern final! Yay! I think Bayern had the game in control after the first half. Respect to Dortmund for putting up a great effort up to the last moment. Won the league by 25 points, CL winners and then if they win the German Cup next week...could be their best season ever?

I am sorry BVB09... For me it was good to see a Dutch player scoring the winning goal (although I would have preferred he had scored on a certain Sunday evening in 2010 in Johannesburg, about 25 meters in front of me... ).

For me it was good to see a Dutch player scoring the winning goal (although I would have preferred he had scored on a certain Sunday evening in 2010 in Johannesburg, about 25 meters in front of me... ). this Dutch guy probably deserved it the most among the Bayern players. Obviously, Kloppo’s game plan was to overwhelm the opponent from the start and score an early goal (or two). As the latter didn’t happen, Dortmund couldn’t keep up to the pace for much more than the first 25 minutes. Nonetheless, one can be really proud about the fight they put up against an overwhelmingly endowed opponent. The sizes of the respective aircraft both squads used for their return home ( Bayern vs. Dortmund) kind of illustrates the uneven balance of power between the two clubs which already led to the transfer of one (and possibly two) of our best players for next season. Though as long as Kloppo isn’t lured away, I hope they might be able to rebound from those losses and come back even stronger…

Very good analysis BVB09!
I always prefer the club(s) that are able to "perform" by making use of home-grown players plus some smartly "bought" players, over clubs that seem to achieve success with loads of money only.
Bayern is probably somewhere in between...

BVB09, Airny, you never know when your teams will get their next shot at success and sometimes it could be sooner than you think. Bayern came back from a heartbreaking defeat in the final last year to actually win it this time and thanks to a certain Dutchman who, 12 months ago, squandered that all-important extra-time penalty.

Very true, although the current situation in football hasn't changed for the better in my opinion. Money rules, and as it seems there is little chance any club from "smaller" countries is ever going to win any of the major European cups. Well, shall we go back to airplanes now? (By the way, if we draw a parallel there... Where did Fokker go??? )

Well, shall we go back to airplanes now? OK airny, we'll go back to airplanes...with football! That's it! I'm giving up my career to become a footballer just so that I can fly an A380 with Emirates.
