I guess production has just slowed down a lot, if not stopped for a few months. No update neither at TLS but also neither at XFW. Frames must be on a storage state somewhere.
Now if 5 will be left undelivered that might cost a lot to Emirates, but probably less indeed than taking the 5 frames.
Question then, I feel like this is some kind of let's try and see what happens, Emirates might be interested in not taking any more frame at all, but probably maybe wasn't decided to announce not taking all 8 remaining frames at all.
Question also then, what will happen to any of these untaken (should this happen)....

His statements were made under the condition that some vaccine would be available fast. Everything could change if not. And there will be some new EK-CEO soon who might have to decide different. I hope for the final ones to be taken as planned.

Mr. Adel Al Redha, EK COO: Emirates in talk with Airbus to postpone the delivery of #3 A380 in this year to 2021. that mean EVL, EVM and EVN delivery next year.
